After the shock news of Rafia’s husband, John, being diagnosed with a very serious health condition in 2010, Rafia set about to understand and change the diet of her entire family. She sought to find a solution to her husband’s illness without having to watch him undertake debilitating and poisonous treatment, offered by some of the top specialists in the country.

From my grandmother's kitchen to my own, the joy of preparing and sharing food has shaped my life. Childhood feasts, vibrant and aromatic, laid the foundation for my enduring passion.

Cooking for my family is the highlight of my day. In my kitchen, music plays, incense dances, and every dish is a celebration. Even the simplest meals come alive in this harmonious space, as if ingredients respond to the joyful atmosphere.

Food, for me, is a daily ritual—a form of meditation. It's a priority, nurturing not just the body but the mind and soul. With love and intention, I share my menus, inviting you to experience unity and upliftment with family and friends.

After receiving the challenging news of her husband John's cancer diagnosis in 2011, Rafia sought guidance on transforming his eating habits, firmly believing in the role of food in the healing process. 

With her connections with experts well-versed in preserving the nutritional integrity of recommended foods, Rafia leveraging her culinary expertise, she skilfully applied these techniques, crafting dishes that played a crucial role in supporting her husband's successful recovery.

As avid food enthusiasts who relished dining experiences, John and Rafia began envisioning a place where everyone could indulge in delicious, nutritious meals.

I just wanted to create a place where the customers would know, categorically, that they could eat with confidence, where their bodies would thank them and where it would bring a smile to their faces!
